This is my rescue horse who was starved and abused. His name is Joe, but before he was rescues from Nevada it was Joker.
Joe loves people after he gets to know them, he is slightly shy at first unless you have a treat. I would say one of his favorite games to play is basically tag for horses, he runs and I have to chase him down to get him sometimes because he doesn't want to leave his pasture to go work. When in the herd, he is an independent boy, and rarely gets along with other horses.
We call Joe "Goober" sometimes, because his head is huge compared to his body, and he looks loopy half the time! I put kids on him, and he tries his hardest to keep the safe. I am teaching him to bow right now. He loves trying to be in control but gives up if you don't back down. Most of the people that meet him, love him to death. He has became such a loveable boy, and loves his job as a barrel horse. too!
