Lilly is my first horse ever. When I turned 10, I asked my parents if I could get a horse. They didn't think it was that bad of an idea. I worked my butt off to raise enough money to actually start even looking at horses. I looked for months. Finally one day I found this little filly online. She was a sorrel paint with one blue eye and one half blue eye. I fell in love and I knew immediately that this was my horse. I showed my parents and they fell in love as well. We called the woman and asked about Lilly. She said that Lilly was ready to go whenever we wanted her. We packed up the next weekend and took the three hour drive to go get her. It was the best time of my life. My whole family was so excited and we all were jittery!
Lilly is now two years old. She is such a loving horse and never ceases to amaze me. She has such a wonderful heart and is so kind.
Lilly and I compete in our county 4-H. Since Lilly is not old enough to be ridden, I compete in halter and showmanship classes. This year we won big. We got five or six first places and also won Junior Grand Champion. I could not be more proud of how she did. She was by far the youngest horse there and was one of the best behaved. She always listens and does anything I ask of her. She would do anything for me and I would do anything for her.
