Ace is a special rabbit because despite everything, he is the sweetest and most laid-back rabbit ever.
I offered to take him from a
breeder. He would have otherwise been put down due to his malocclusion
(misaligned teeth). This can be serious with rabbits if not taken care
of regularly, as bunny teeth grow continually, and need to be worn down
by chewing. If not they need to be "floated" (filed down) by a vet. The breeder,
however, didn't want to have to put him down, because this was one of
the sweetest rabbits she had at the time. So I drove all the way up to
Kentucky from Mississippi to get him and bring him home.
He's the first rabbit I've ever had as a pet and I could not have asked for a better bunny. He's very
tolerant of my inexperience as a rabbit parent and thankfully, very tolerant to my other pets as well! He even plays with the cats occasionally!
I'm very happy to have him in my life and I hope we have many years together.
