Ginger is a hypo BCI boa, commonly called a red tail boa. I got her a
little less than a year ago at a rescue, she was dropped off after
being sold at an expo in horrible condition. When I first got her she
had scratches/bites all along her back, I'm guessing from live
feeding. She has a permanent whistle when she breathes from a
previously untreated respiratory infection from whoever had her before me.
In my care she has grown quite a bit and put on weight, she's shed
multiple times and eats frozen thawed rats like a pro! All the cuts
on her back are healed up and she's a big sweetheart! And by big, I
mean 8 and a half feet (2.6 m) long and still growing! She's now a big strong girl
who loves to chill under blankets. I love her!
