Introducing Mya-ora Mr. Grey (a.k.a. Christian). Christian is a special boy. When I first got goats I saw his dad and put in an order for a buck kid from him. His dad, Grover, was just amazing and was the complete package. He had the breeding behind him, the conformation and the temperament and height. I waited for 12 months for the right baby. As soon as this one was born I wanted him, but the breeder had said he was a keeper. All good, I told her, we can wait again. Well then the breeder said she had changed her mind as she didn't need another buck kid. This all happened in the space of two days. Straight away I said that was the boy I wanted. Then there was another three months wait until he was weaned and home he came. He is everything I hoped he would be. He is cuddly and loving to me, but hates anyone else. He is my special boy and he knows it! He is spoilt! He will be attending his first show in three weeks. :) He will let me stand him up and lead him, but anyone else tries and he throws a tantrum! He will even throw himself on the ground!
His name came about as he has steel blue/grey eyes just like the Christian from the "Fifty Shades" books! He looks like he will be a steel grey sheltie! His mom, Mistletoe is a lovely gentle doe also. He has got his color and coat type from his mom, his blue eyes and chunkiness from dad; and he is my complete package! The wait was well worth it to have this beautiful boy.
