I got those two cuties on October 26, 2014. It has now been a year since I got them and don't regret buying them and bringing them into my life.
The previous owner didn't wanted them because she thought they were too noisy and ill-tempered, and only wanted the little baby she had just bought. After lots of convincing I finally got the permission to buy them. It was my first time having sugar gliders and she hadn't told me much about them except their tempers. Well ... I don't know what her relationship was with them, but they never were like she told me.
Marscal is the sweetest thing, who likes to cuddle to you, makes adorable sounds when being petted and sleeps in the weirdest positions. He is the nervous type and will bark at night if I haven't been long enough with him during the day. Being shy is also part of his personality and he would rather explore new places with just his head out of his pouch.
Mingan is more the outgoing, the explorer. He jumps around, loves to play "run and hide" before pouncing on me out of nowhere. He likes to be carried around on my shoulder when I go around the house. He has the tendency to nibble, sometimes he nibble a bit harder but will never break the skin, and licks a lot when he cuddles and does have a little temper when you accidently wake him up.
But neither of those darlings has ever bitten me or other members of the family, nor have they been aggressive or ill-tempered like she mentioned. They even got along with the cat (who sadly passed away this September at age 17). The previous owner mentioned that they hated all other animals ... well, lady, I dunno where you picked that up.
Those two have been a blessing in my life. They are adorable, sweet and loving ... and I wouldn't trade them for the world!
