This amazing girl is Syvi, my White's Tree Frog. She may be a frog, but she provides a lot of company and an escape from my depression. She has a habit of staring at me when I come home from work in the morning and when I wake up in the afternoon (nightshifter). I have been told many times that she is "otherworldly" and she definitely has a personality of her own.
Sometimes I'll have her out with me as I draw. She is always sitting in the same spot every day (if she's not soaking), which is a silk fan leaf. She may appear dainty every day with her little front feet tucked under her tummy, but she is certainly a messy and violent eater of crickets and mealworms. Every once in a while I will catch her sleeping on top of her action figurine velociraptor named Hugo. She'll occasionally stare at Jax the crested gecko whose tank is nearby... he doesn't like it very much. She really is precious to me!
