This is my old boy. He's always been special to me. I originally got him to replace another canary with the same name who choked while he was bathing. Johny used to be alone for a short period of time, but later in his life there came two male budgies and two female canaries, all of them being caught after they escaped their homes and there was no one looking for the missing birds, so we've kept them all.
Johny lives free in my balcony, and is closely followed by my budgie (the other one died last year in spring, well-feeded and spoiled). Although he's a bird, he is very smart (got used with us so now he's not afraid anymore when we get closer from him), a fluffy sweetheart who adores sunbathing a lot and a talented singer. I remember years ago when he was accidentally left without food, he came into our kitchen, sat on the bread in front of us and started eating from it. He's my and my parents' angel!
