This my gorgeous little paint/Arabian mare! She is my first horse and she means the world to me.
Currently we are boarding her at a place that is only 5 minutes from my house so I visit her everyday. In about two weeks we will be bringing her to my house for good! I am very excited because we have a huge horse trail that will be great for going on nice longs rides.
I have already been jumping her and she loves it! I really enjoy riding bareback, and she is the perfect horse for it. I'd say we make a pretty good team. Her favorite treat is probably carrots, she is such a beggar, lol. My goal is to eventually be able to ride her tackless (without saddle or bridle)! She listens so well and has good manners so I think it will be easy to teach her.
Gypsy gets along well with other animals, and especially loves cats! We have two little pygmy goats to be her company when she comes home and I think they will get along great. Something she does not like is bicycles so we are trying to get her used to them. She has her own Instagram account and you can follow it at mypaintedhorse to see daily photos and updates!
