This wee girl was a present; the petstore lady didn't want her
going to a bad home, so she gave her to me. She has more hair than any
mouse I ever saw, and clearly has some fancy breeding. She is a
longhaired angora splashed mouse. She has grey throughout her dark black
fur, and she had a beautiful litter including a tricolor son.
She was trusting pretty much from
the get-go, she'll come up to my hand in her cage to sniff and say hi
and sometimes chew my shiny bracelet or ring. She likes shiny things.
She also seems to love any treat I give her, bird seed, dried meat,
(protein is important for a nursing mum) peanuts, whatever. I get a
face full of mouse hair whenever I kiss her, so it's a good thing mice
don't shed, even long haired ones. She has a cute pink tip on her tail,
and much personality.
