Gringo is very special to me because he is my first horse. I've loved and ridden horses all my life, but they were all just lesson horses. In November of 2013, he came home to me.
Gringo is very laidback, but does know how to have fun! I barrel race, rope, jump, drill team and trail ride with him. He has taught me so much, mainly to keep trying and keep going, and to keep dreaming. I only have a couple of best friends, but this horse is definitely one of them. He's done many things... good things, and bad things, but each and every time it has taught me something. He's always there, ready to start another lesson.
I love to put my little brothers and sisters on Gringo, and they all love him! He's also known very well for his 'afro' forelock! We're going to start Mounted Shooting and Liberty training this month! His best horse friend is his paddock pal, Silkie, a 5-year-old black mare you can see in his last picture! I love him very much!
