Pluis
is an Teddy Widder rabbit. This breed is a mix between an Lionhead and
an Angora rabbit. Pluis is a lovely girl, born on April 17, 2011. I need to
brush her long fur every other day. Twice a year I take her to the groomer.
She lives with Lionhead bunny Amadeüs. They have been in love from the day
they saw each other. Bunny love is wonderful! Pluis is a very happy bunny,
aways happy and she loves to run as fast as she can.
Pluis is a special lady, she is friendly and shy. She always runs away when I
want to give her petting, but she loves it when I cuddle her after brushing.
Her favorite toy is a wooden ball with a bell inside. And she like to destroy
willow balls for fun. She loves apples, and that's really the only thing she
likes, except her pellets and hay.
Pluis and her bunfriend lives outside, in a huge hutch and of course enough
space to run around. They stay nice and warm as I have insulation foil all
over the sides and on the roof. Bunnies can better deal with cold than with
too much warmth, and they have their winter coat and can stand it being
-20.C (-4 °F), but it never gets that cold here, not even close! As I type this, it
is now 2 degrees Celsius (36 °F) and Pluis is happy sleeping in the hay on this moment.
Pluis loves her home, and her garden - and if there's a cat in the garden, is
it Pluis who starts thumping to send the cat away. I hope Pluis stay with us
for many many years!
