Sox is our first bunmy we've ever had, and she's the reason for my bunny obsession. We've had her since the beginning of this summer, though she was born in April, so we've nicknamed her 'the Easter Bunny' (other nicknames include BunBun, Cadbury, and Molly as my mom wanted to name her that).
We got beginning of the summer when my mom went to a pet shop for dog food, and one of the ladies working there (a breeder) was giving them out for adoption for absolutely free, besides a little donation my mom gave. There were three others and according to her they were all absolutely stunning, but one of them ran right up to her when she came close. Obviously, this was the one she picked for us.
Sox doesn't know many 'tricks' yet (I'm working on it though). I have taught her to come when I call her and to stand up on her back feet and walk, spin in a circle, etc while doing so. Sometimes if she wants a treat she'll stand up in front of me and will stay there until I give her one. She is a very affectionate bunny, she runs up to me whenever she can begging for treats and pets on her nose. Though she goes through grumpy days that get so bad I get worried someone did something to her, she turns back around just in time for me to stop worrying. (I've been reassured that she does this because she's not fixed yet though).
Sox is a big chewer, so much so I have to buy new blankets every month (we have old, nail riden floors, blankets are needed). She has chewed the wallpaper off the wall in her room, she's destroyed many precious headphone wires and internet cables, and many, many other items. She is also a master escape artist, hence why she has her own room.
She escaped three times from her old pen just by simply climbing or jumping over it, and chewed a hole straight through our couch. She also likes to hide behind the couch and get herself stuck, so the crazy bunny lady (my unfortunate nickname in my house) has to come save her.
We all do love Sox!
