This is my little treasure. When I got her they told me she was "too young to be pregnant." However, she had already conceived and was pregnant. Her babies had to be given to another mum as she was too young to care for them herself; she didn't know what to do. (She wasn't feeding them.) So though I was sad to see her babies go I still have her, and the pinkies survived.
She is a very pretty dove variegated mouse. She can be kind of bossy to the younger mice in her colony, but hey, she has the privilege. She enjoys honeyed gerbil treats that have sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and corn. She also love acorn squash. I don't give it often as too much can upset mouse tummies but she loves it. She mostly eats the green skin over the yellow flesh though lol! She is precious to me!
