I've had Yasha since he was born. One morning when I woke up he just sat there in the cage, being happy and full of energy! He didn't look like all the others so that gave me a surprise but all my females loved him! And after four weeks it was time to separate them. I have another male who had been alone for a while and when he met Yasha for the first time, let us say it was love at first sight. He loved Yasha and it was impossible to separate them. Yasha is still really cheerful and has a lot of energy. He's the most social guinea pig I have ever had. When I take him out to cuddle, he just snuggles up and takes a nap with me.
But a while ago he became sick and if I hadn't taken him to the vet when I did I think he would have died. He was weak and not like himself at all. I didn't give up and gave him his medication even though he hated it.
Now he's himself again, my little furry energy piggie. He gives a lot of love and he gets a lot of love back. He makes me so happy. Also he's a good morning alarm. Every morning he wakes me up at the same time, it's impossible to sleep when he screams for his breakfast. But I still love him so much!
