Wyatt is a gelding who was rescued three years ago from the slaughter house. I must say we got very lucky with him because, for the most part, he is a quick
learner and an enjoyable horse to be around. He would be my first
horse. I dabbled around with western and trail with him but for the
most part we tend to do show jumping. This is something he excels at. When he
wants to be, he can be very affectionate, especially towards
children. We love our big spotted boy!
His coloring is called a "Leopard- Spotted Appaloosa." His markings, for this color, are said to be unique. It does confuse me as to
why his original owners had given him up the first place as, besides of his quick gait, he was wonderful. And I must say I do get a lot of comments when we go to shows.
It makes me laugh when there are children huddled around him or walk up to greet him. I just don't know what I would do without him.
