This
is Journey, she is a Bay Tobiano Paint. Her full name is "Pocos Classic
Journey." Though she is not the first horse I have owned, she is the first
horse that I have competed with and taken to events off the farm. Because she
had an injury last winter, we only train in Dressage now. Despite being only
14.2hh, Journey has a nice length of stride and loves to show off how pretty
she is to anyone who is watching. She is a very brave pony who is always
willing to go trail riding alone and explore new places. Just don't ask her
to cross the scary water puddles!
She has the earned the nickname "Princess" around the farm because I spoil
and love on her so much. Journey loves to be groomed and given attention.
She's affectionate to anyone who walks up to her stall and will greet me with a knicker.
She is pictured below with her pasture buddy and best friend, Tots. Tots was
also her buddy for her stall rest while she was injured, otherwise she would
have been very lonely and upset while the other horses were outside! Journey
has been influenced a lot from Tots' calm personality over the years.
I love this pony more and more every day!
