Noodles
is a gentle baby girl whose coloration is known as splashed. At first
I thought part of her head was bald, but it is in fact a blonde fur patch. I
do find it hard to photograph the head and have the marking show up. With her
it was love at first sight on both sides. She never ran when I caught her at
the store, I knew immediately I wanted her. Very sweet tempered, as if she
had been handraised from a baby. I do not even have to talk or go near her
cage, soon as she knows I'm there she is looking for me. She is super
friendly and docile.
The other day I went to stick my hand in there for some reason or other but
stopped as she wanted to sniff my finger. But instead of just sniffing, she
very carefully and gently started licking it. I had been eating a cookie so
perhaps I had crumbs or sugar on there lol she is very trusting just as if
she'd been mine her whole life. She lets me stroke her during out of cage
time when most of my others barely let me touch their backs. And, apparently
she has a taste for shortbread molasses maple cookies. (They are sinful I
admit.) She doesn't seem to go for bird seed as readily as the other girls,
though she seems to like pumpkin seeds and peanut butter. I haven't had her
for very long, but I am beginning to grow quite fond of her already. She is
even gentle with the other girls in her colony. She is quite young, she was
in the hopper bin at the petstore, which is where they put the babies, and
not normally to be sold. Apparently I am the only customer allowed to buy
hopper females. The lady always calls me special. So I was glad I was able to
buy her, and she is such a sweet little one!
