My
Baby Hal is one of my best friends! I got Hallie from one of my very best
human friends. I remember when her mom was pregnant with her and the day she
was born and I got that first picture and "IT'S A GIRL!!" texted to me!! I
was estatic and screamed with joy! :)
I got to bring Hallie home when she was about three months old, I had gotten
daily picture updates and stories of her (as she lived nearly five hours away,
so visiting wasn't much of an option) up until I had her, so when she got
here, I sent my friend daily updates! And yes, she does almost look like she
has no ears - that is how a proper LaMancha looks, cute isn't it? Lamancha
goats are one of the most distinctive goat breeds, recognizable by their very
short ears, unlike floppy ears or erect ears of other breeds.
Hallie is now a year old and will be a mom herself come spring, making my
friend and I 'grandmothers' :)! We love this spunky, silly, spunky, funny
girl!! She is always doing things to make us laugh and she loves to play with
all the babies! So we are sure she will be a great mom herself!
