Her
name is Fifi. She's three years old. She is a degu. Degus behave like a
squirrel, but they are a member of another family of rodents. Lots of people
ask, "What is she?" as they have never seen or even heard of a degu! Fifi
is so fun, she's really cute and pretty. She likes to run and jump very
much. She is active three to four hours and sleeps 20-30 minutes at a time. You have
to be careful giving them treats, as they cannot digest sugar. She's
friendly, curious and fast. She loves "free time" out of her cage, and
hiding under blankets then peeking out! I have a fun with her!
