Arabella
is the sweetest doe on my farm,
Rolling Acres Farm.
She loves to tease my Nigerian bucks, but is in love with my buck Howie. She
is a tall nubian, and don't tell her I told you she is almost 200
pounds! She enjoys going for walks, trimming the hedges, sunny days, and
giving smooches. Her nick name is Beautiful Gorgeous, and if you call it out
she will come running. She visits a boys summer camp and teaches them about
goats, and how to milk. Almost everyone who meets her thinks she is
"amazing". We think she is pretty amazing too!
Arabella was born 5/15/2008. We got her last year. A breeder I know in Cabot,
Vermont contacted me and told me she was dispersing almost all of her herd, and
wanted to know if we were interested in any of her does. So my family went to
see what she had. We picked a Senior Milking Alpine, a Junior Alpine doe, and
Arabella. My husband had to have her because she walked right up to him and
started smooching him and it was Nubian love! I have a newborn daughter and
when I take her out to the barn Arabella will spend as much time as she can
giving Madelyn kisses. She makes me smile!
