I
was not planning to buy another rabbit, but when I saw Fleurtje in the pet
store we immediately had a special bond. She was a little bunny with too
large ears and a bit clumsy movement, and I immediately knew she had to come
home with me. She still is a bit clumsy, but next to that she is the most
lovable rabbit you could wish for.
If I tell other people about Fleurtje they think she's a dog. Yes, she
follows you, she listens to commands, and she sleeps on her back. And yes,
she begs for food and she wants to be petted all day. She's a bit spoiled,
but you can not be mad at that cute face. When we aren't able to pet her, she
seeks support and love by a group of stuffed monkeys.
Every night she comes lying next to me on the couch, unfortunately a result
of her relaxing is a pile of droppings. But I don't mind, they're easy to
clean up. And most of all, I don't mind because I love her.
