Bentley
is such a cheeky little bunny! He is such a cute and loveable
character, and when he takes a treat and runs off into a corner with
his little lop ears flapping up and down it is simply just the cutest sight!
Bentley is my first rabbit we rescued him on the 27th of April 2013 when we saw him
in the Adoption Section at Pets at Home all on his own, his owners had
left him there simply because they did not want him any more. He was
all dirty and needed a good cleaning, as his fur had turned yellow. We
just had to have him, his cute little ears and fluffy cheeks and his
gorgeous blue eyes made my heart melt!
When we got him home, within hours he was dying to be out of his cage
so he could explore! Bentley is an independent bunny but he does love
nose rubs and playing in tunnels and boxes!
Bentley has had ongoing teeth problems since we got him, he has had to
have his teeth spurred three times, he is a little monkey and doesn't like
to eat hay much but now we have found Oat Hay which he loves, we also
found he loves fresh grass and dandelions!
Over the past year his mischief has decreased as the house has become
more and more bunny proofed! However that doesn't stop him nibbling
the corners of the walls and occasionally leaving poop parcels on our
front door mat for us!
You can see from the photos, the first couple he looks a bit yellow
and then you can see he was all clean and a very hoppy bunmy!
He now has a girlbun called Bleu! They aren't bonded yet but we hope
soon they will be, they have already made such good progress including
eating together and having bunny cuddles!
