What
makes my Charlie special is he is my very first Belgian Hare and he is a
very sweet, sweet bunny. Whenever I go to his cage he pushes on his door so I
will take him out and pet him. He also gets to run around the house and steal
my spot on the couch. He and my cat like to run around the house and play
with each other. I decided to get Charlie when I heard that my mom's friend
had him for sale. I essentially just bought him for showing and breeding
purposes, but he kinda grew on my and now he gets to run around the house.
Belgian Hares are a rare breed in the United States and I feel if he was is
recognized it will make Belgian Hares more noticed. Recently Charlie became a
daddy of two adorable little fuzzball bunnies.
Charlie isn't all that hard to care for. All I really need to do is clean out
his cage and make sure he has plenty of food and water and of course, pet him
and let him get plenty of exercise while he runs around. And of course give
him plenty of love, but Charlie makes that part easy!
