I
did it! I've gotten photographic proof of a Christmas elf! Or maybe it's my
sister's guinea pig Thor with a little hat on... Either way, he's a cutie,
isn't he? He usually holds pretty still when you first put him on the ground
which is handy, so he didn't shake the hat off or anything. Plus I think he
was intrigued by the camera - I took the first picture and then he turned and
looked right at it!
He's kind of a shy little guy, and can seem nervous at first. He loves hiding
in his little house. But once he gets to know you, he's a great snuggler. You
know he's happy when he's making little tiny chirruping sounds. He even knows
the way back to his cage from different parts of the house - if you set him
down on the floor, he'll speed all the way back to his cage and climb right
up the open door inside. He's also not afraid of our dogs-he went right up
and sniffed our dog on the nose! Isn't he cute?
