This
is Beau, my Nigerian dwarf goat buckling! He's a sweetheart. He's silly
and bounces off everything. Beau loves having the spot in between his toes
scratched. He's just the most perfect thing I have ever seen! He was eight weeks
old in this picture!
My little beau is now four months old. When he was three and a half months old, I
was concerned, as most of the boys are "interested" if you know what I mean
by a few weeks old. Mounting each other or attempting to with mom. But he had
no interest in any of that horseplay. I didn't know if he was a late bloomer
or if he just has no interest at all and will never have interest. I'm a
worry wart, so I asked my friends (at TheGoatSpot.net) and they said not to
worry, that I just have a well-behaved buckling on my hands. Everything seems
normal on him. I was relieved, as he's my little sweetheart. I hope some day
he will be my herd sire, but for now I am enjoying watching him grow!
