This
is my guinea pig, his name is Olaf. He has quite a personality. He is
very friendly and energetic, too!
My neighbor's little girl gave him to me. I think he may have been
mistreated. He likes to have his head and ears scratched, but not his back or
rear end and he hates being picked up, so I don't try to carry him. He's
skittish, but sweet. He's a happy little piggy now that I don't pick him up
anymore. We treat him kindly and feed him well, and keep his cage clean.
Olaf loves carrots, sweet potato, sugar snap peas, apples, pears, and grapes.
I pick dandelion leaves from the yard for him, he loves that. I don't know
how old he is, but he is very energetic, runs around in his cage kicking up
his back feet and seems to be having a ball. He lets me know he's hungry by
gnawing on the bars of his cage until I give him something. It is very loud
when he does this, so hard to ignore! He's very cute and I just love him to pieces.
