Sassy
is a cute little filly (that means a young female horse) that loves to
play! She is an excellent horse and my first. She is growing up so fast. She
is eight weeks old in these pictures, so is even bigger now! She is an excellent
playmate and I have had her for over three months now, and have gone through
everything with her. (She knows how to nod her head and suck my finger.)
When she is older, we will teach her how to be ridden. I don't like the term,
"breaking" her - it is just getting her used to a saddle, and then getting
her used to the weight of a person. She got used to wearing a halter really
fast, so she seems to be smart, and I bet she will pick that up very quickly.
But for now her job is just to grow big and strong, and learn everything a
horse needs to learn, and play is a big part of that! I love her very much already!
