Our
rabbit, Sky, is special because she is our first indoor rabbit. We got
her along with her sister Pearl from a very nice lady who raised and bred
lionhead rabbits. The rabbits were special because at one week of age the
mother rabbit was killed by a dog and the young ones had to be bottled fed
till they were old enough to find homes for. So Sky is not as skittish around
humans as some rabbits are. As you can see, her coloring has darkened to this
pretty shade now that she is grown up. Today, she loves to play with my
mothers eight-pound (3.6 kg) Papillon and she has unconditional love in our household.
