Gunner
is a loving horse who has been through a lot in his life. Growing up
he did showjumping competitions and proved to be a winner. He jumped five foot
and did lots of cross-country. Although when my friend purchased him the
owner stated he was fourteen and jumped five foot and sent his younger photos. Little
did she know he was much older and weaker; they still kept him for a while in
a relaxing area without any worries. I rode him a lot and treated him as my
own. They sold him to one of my best friends who kept him there and did small
workouts on him. He was given to her due to personal family issues and they
had to move to Virginia. They couldn't afford to keep him, but he is in a
good home now and loved by all. Although he also suffered from melanomas and
he is on chemotherapy he is still living strong. Gunner is a very special
horse that nobody can say no to or deny their love for him.
