My
hamsters name is Trixie. She is about a half of a year old. She's a fancy
Russian dwarf hamster and one of Trixie's favorite hobbies is eating. When we
give her food, she stuffs it all in her cheek pouches. She looks so adorable.
Her favorite foods are cucumber, egg, peas, boiled eggs, and apple.
My hamster is very special because she loves to be held. Her fur is very
fluffy and soft. She has big black eyes and a black stripe down her back. My
hamster is really affectionate. When you hold her to your face she will give
you a little kiss. She loves to run on her orange wheel. She also loves to
run around in her ball!!! She loves to dig around in the wood chips we give her.
I got my hamster for my birthday because I begged and begged for about three
years. So when I was opening my presents my parents kept saying leave that
one for last, leave it for last. When I finally opened it I saw a hamster
cage. Then I started to cry: I was so happy! After my birthday party we went
to PetSmart. The saleslady kept on trying to make us get a rat but I was
like, "No way, I want That Hamster!" That is How I got Trixie.
