I
want to introduce my turtle. Her original name was Blossom, but her sense
of adventure meant that we changed it to Magallanes. We've rescued her from
neighboring terraces, joining two brooms to reach her. At home we all believe
that she is immortal, and she will outlive us all. We had a dog but he was afraid of her. She is powerful.
She is very imperial, never lets any other animal in the house think it is
superior to her. She loves sunbathing on stone. When she sees me, she
always recognizes me, and asks me to remove her from the pool for a walk. I
think the adjective that best defines her is: Adventurous. I think she is very
fast for a turtle. She eats a diet of small prawns, but I think she would eat
anything, hehehe. She is very independent but I think that she recognizes I
am her friend, albeit one subordinate to her!
