This
is Dustbunny (Dusty for short.) Dusty's special because she is the most
spoilt and aggressive rabbit I have ever owned! Her previous owner must have
spoilt her rotten and while I'm sad he had to give up his little princess,
I'm glad to have her.
She's very opinionated. If you don't pat her, she'll nip you. If you don't
move out of the way she'll grunt then nip you, if she wants to go home at the
vets, she'll bite you. However as long as things go her way she's a very
friendly, very snuggly cuddlebun who just wants loads of love. Nothing makes
her happier than a good head scratch and cheek rub. She does not like other
rabbits (and especially does not like cats).
When we took her to the RSPCA to meet some potential friends she bossed and
attacked every single one. We got lucky when checking out the vet though, as
they had a baby rabbit she ignored - which was the most positive reaction we
were likely to get from her. It was a slow process but she ended up bonding
to Hopscotch. She fell totally in love with him and loves cuddling up to him
and begging for kisses.
She's a bit of a food hog and used to be a fat bunny (she's still got a bit
of chubb but that's okay as she get's badly sick at least once a year. She's
EC positive and also had some bad luck with something and got her eye
scratched). Her favorite treat is broccoli, I don't know why! I'm glad she is mine!
