Aspen
is my male Green Cheeked Conure. He's only two years old, so he's still
pretty young, especially as conures can live into their twenties, some even
say 30! So he will be with me for a long time to come.
Aspen is special because he helps me get through tough times and gives me
someone to talk to. He can't talk yet, which is a good thing since I tell him
a lot of my secrets, but he seems to understand me and responds with small
actions such as a small chirp, a flick of a wing etc. He isn't just a pet, he
is a member of my family and I love him very much.
