This
is Sima. She's a cockatiel. She's been living with me for nine years. She's
a very loving and intelligent bird. Sima did a lot of tricks when she was
young and before she got her parrot boyfriend.
She like being around her family members. When someone is watching a tv, she
tends to fly to that person and places herself on their shoulder. Since Sima
is rather old (I was told that cockatiels' lifespans can't be over twelve years),
she's a bit lazy now but still she enjoys flying around the room. That's the
thing she has always been allowed to do! We do always make sure any doors and
windows are shut before letting her out of the cage, of course!
I love my Sima very much! Despite the fact we bought her as a male (the
seller had convinced us that she was a he), I'm glad she turned out to be a
girl! She's a very special bird.
