Willy
is a sixteen-hand, seven-year-old Quarter Horse paint gelding! He is my
best four-legged friend! Willy loves learning new tricks, so far he knows how
to bow and count, we are working on give a kiss. Willy has very few paint
markings and the ones he does have are chestnut ... the same color as my
hair! Willy's favorite foods are oatmeal, carrots and peppermint treats. He
gets one flake of hay in the morning and at night he gets one flake hay and a
big scoop of stable mix with 1/8th cup flax seeds. Willy absolutely hates,
pears and bananas! When he sees me holding of of them he has to stay at least
sixteen feet from me.
I take him to graze every day on a very lush hillside of clover and lavender.
Even though Willy is a quarter horse he doesn't look it! At least to me, he
looks like a thoroughbred. I love Willy and after reading this hopefully you do too!
