I
have rabbits, and Smokey was one of my favorite babies, and it's hard to
let a pet that I care for go. My cousin owns her now, and I still get to
see her now and then, she was the runt of the litter, and was so cute. I
have about six other rabbits. She loves getting attention, and would jump up
on my lap if I sat on the ground, because she loves getting petted. She
also like to play chase, so she'll run around while I run behind her,
sometimes she'll do her mid air jump, and go right between my legs, then go
the other way. She does actually go swimming with me, I have a small piece
of water behind my house I swim at, and she'll tag along and paddle around
with me. Whenever we go paddle boating, she has her own little boat beside
ours that she sits in and enjoys the ride. Her father was a wild rabbit
that used to hang around my bunny pens, and he got in one of the cages
somehow. She has that same bit of wild spirit and she's always been the one
who loved running outside in the backyard, and she wouldn't go anywhere,
and just stuck around. She like to do a couple tricks; she like to run and
take a jump, and turning around mid-air and running back. She also walks on
her hind legs, too bad I don't have a picture of that! She's a wonderful
rabbit with a lot of energy, and I love her. In the first picture she was a
baby, and the second is what she looks like now! It was interesting to see
her color change as she got older, but I think she is still beautiful!
If anyone is thinking of getting a bunny for Easter, Smokey and we want you
to make sure you do lots of research, and be sure you are ready! Rabbits
can be great pets for the right people, so long as you and the bunny know what to expect!
