Rooster
is one of the most full of energy boy rats I have ever owned! His
personality led to his name. He is named after the character Rooster in one
of my favorite musicals, Annie! All of his rat boy cage mates just want to
cuddle or sleep, but Rooster wants to play! Being tickled and chased are his
favorite activities, though I have watched with fascination as he carries his
jingle bell toys up and down the cage ramps and in and out of the igloos. It
seems if no one is willing to play with him, he will make his own fun.
Normally male rats are not jumpers, but this funny male loves to bounces from
couch to chair to table and back again! I have owned many rats in my life,
but I had always wanted a merle colored one. And like icing on the cake, the
one I picked came with one of the best personalities I have come across.
Rooster is a fantastic rat and I look forward to many years of happiness together.
