Here
is my lovely two-year-old leopard gecko, Kiki. She's a beautiful
creature that loves posing for the camera, eating crickets and hiding under
her rock. She's absolutely lovely and the cutest thing ever!
Kiki is the first leopard gecko I've ever had and I got her when she was three
to four months old. She eats crickets and locusts, though she seems to prefer the
locusts. I decided to get her since I really wanted a pet and she was the
most practical one to get (it had to be a small animal and it couldn't be
noisy as it's tank/cage had to be stored in my bedroom). All in all, she's a fantastic pet.
Her sweetness is emphasized by her stupidity, as I often catch her attacking
the shadow of her food rather than it. She gets easily confused by mirrors
(see youtube link) and is generally the best leopard gecko ever, due to her
mellow behaviour and calm traits. Despite claiming to be nocturnal, she is
constantly active during the day and curls up to sleep at night. I love her
just the way she is!
