Ginger
is my pretty sleek fur guinea pig. She lives here with me in
Lawrencetown Nova Scotia - which is in Canada, in the region they call "The
Maritimes," so about as far away from the South American Andes mountains
where guinea pigs are originally from as a guinea pig could be!
I think what makes Ginger special is, that she likes to cuddle! She is so
friendly and sweet! She gives affectionate nibbles, and if she trusts you she
will rub her nose into you and purr. It makes me feel very special when that
happens, as some people don not even know guinea pigs can purr! But she will
do that for me! She is an excellent pet!
