Axew
is my little Sunglow Albino Leopard Gecko. Axew is the youngest of all
my lizards, she lives with two other leopard geckos and is so laid back with
them it's amazing. They can climb all over her and she doesn't bat an eyelid.
She's taken to being handled very well and will sit on mine or my partner's
shoulder for ages.
She's a little shy right now, but I think it's because she's so young. She
loves stalking bugs and being around her sister Treecko. Her other sister is
a little more independent and sometimes gets a little annoyed that Axew it so
affectionate to her. Her favourite food is brown crickets or mealworms, and
if they aren't moving, she isn't interested!
I decided to get her because last year I had a leopard gecko who was put
down. I loved her so much that I just had to get another gecko. I got Treecko
first, then Deino. I was going to stop with just these two, and then I went
into a pet shop where Axew was, she was such an unusual colour, I'd never
seen one like her before, so I just had to get her, and am so glad I did.
