Rupee
is my Eclectus parrot and many things make her special. She is a female
- it is easy to tell in Eclectus parrots, as the males are green, and the
females are the gorgeous red like Rupee is! She is an excellant talker, in
fact she rarely shuts up! She can sing twinkle twinkle little star and enjoys
humming along to opera. She loves taking warm showers and getting all lovely
and wet, which frankly makes her look like a scary dinosaur. But what Rupee
loves most is going outside. I take her everywhere - to the shop, to the pub,
to the zoo! When my band busks on the street or plays a gig, Rupee always
comes along to dance and sing and people really enjoy petting her and talking
to her. She is my best friend.
