We
adopted Stormy, along with her pal Buttons, from our local Humane Society
on October 27, 2011. Stormy is our dark-eyed, silver and white girl, weighing
slightly over three pounds! Her fur pattern reminded us of stormy clouds on a
winter's day, so that's how she got her name.
Stormy lives with Buttons in their 30" x 30" cage that sometimes rocks when
Stormy is running around in it! Stormy has been our most laid-back guinea pig
ever, as nothing seems to bother her. She takes everything in stride, and she
loves to sneak in a nap when Buttons leaves her alone. Stormy will yawn and
purr continuously when we give her back rubs, while she stretches out to
almost a foot long in length. We have included a funny picture of Stormy
yawning!
Because of Buttons' bladder issues, Stormy is on the same high-fiber, low
calcium veggie diet that Buttons is on. Stormy also loves her timothy hay and
her daily crunchy treats. Stormy has been blessed with good health ever since
her adoption, and we hope she continues to enjoy a healthy life for a long time!
