My
family and I found Finik on Craigslist as a neglected one-year-old bearded
dragon with elephantiasis (pretty much as it sounds... just swollen all over
and barely capable of moving around on her own). The owners decided to give
her to us because they couldn't keep her anymore. We had to hand feed her for
a couple months, but look at her now! She's is completely healthy and lively
now :) In fact, she recently laid eggs, which is why she looks a little thin
now, but that's just another sign of how far she has come! And, of course she
was a good sport about wearing her spinach for the photos! :) Finik would
like everyone to know they should research before they get any pet, so they
know what they need to eat, and how to keep them safe and healthy like she is
now. She's a very special girl.
