Bluebell
is one of the most sweetest rabbits I have ever owned. On August second
she will be three months old. Bluebell is a Blue Beveren rabbit. She does have
pedigreed, and I am planning on showing and breeding her next year. Where I
live, not a lot of people show Blue Beverens. I got her from a breeder near
where I live. I had been looking at the post for a couple of days before I
made up my mind to get her. When she is full grown, she will be nine to twelve
pounds. Her breed was first started in a small town near Antwerp in Belgium.
The breeder that I got her from said that she was one of the best out of the
litter. I got her a little while after my other rabbit died. I really missed
her, but now that I have Bluebell, it won't be so hard.
She loves strawberry, mint, and blackberry leaves. There is this corner in
her hutch that she loves to sit in. It is behind her feeder, so it hard to
see her sometimes. We have this small pet crate that she just loves, when I
make the door move and make noise. Bluebell got out once and so I took the
crate over to see if I could get her to come to me, and she did. My brother
said that was a good sign of trust, and that is what I want her do. She is
very affectionate. She likes to hop up onto my lap when I am playing or
holding her. I love my Bluebell!
