Hello,
this is Chip. He is a Degu, also known as a Chilean squirrel. He is
very perky but a bit naughty. His cute irresistible face and those
lover-boy eyes immediately get him out of trouble. Just look at that
little Romeo, he always gets into my heart! Anyway, if that isn't enough,
he is accompanied by his brother Moe, so it is actually double the fun!
They live in a very big cage where they like to take a nap on a toy during
the day, and in a house filled with absolutely everything during night.
They have everything they need in their cage, but would rather explore the
rest of my room looking for a way to get to my work desk where I keep
treats. Luckily I've made my entire room bite-proof so they wouldn't be
able to chew on some wires. As you presumed, after this picture was taken,
Chip immediately nibbled on that flower (that's why taking a photo with an
animal so perky is a mission impossible, hehe). Chip and Moe will be
forever lively and forever in my heart.
