This
is Star! He is about five months maybe, got him from a pet store so
it is hard to tell. He is a clown! He has a friend named Skittles and they
hate to be apart. I put Skittles on the leg of my chair and their wings
are clipped, so Star couldn't get on. He was going crazy trying to find a
way to get to Skittles. He even tugged on Skittles tail to try and get up,
so I lifted him on and he was happy and started to clean himself like
nothing had happened. Star does not know how to speak yet, but I hope to
teach him how. He is really smart, you can tell! He gets angry sometimes
when you hold him the wrong way, and he likes to bite. I am trying to
teach him not to bite.
One special thing about Star is that he is missing a toenail! It is one on
his back toe. It might have just fallen off when he bumped it hard or
something, but I don't really know how it happened. It doesn't effect his
perching, so that is a good thing, as most likely it won't grow back. His
favorite treat is millet. He also likes to try to fly even though he
can't. He has one favorite toy which is this thing with rings that he
likes to stick his head though. He really is a awesome bird. I love you
Star, and I always will!
