This
is my asian water monitor, his name is Ducky. Water monitors are one of
the most common monitor lizards found throughout Asia in the wild, but he is
a pet captive born here in North America. He is a presumed male and is about
two months old, as far as we know, we received him as a hatchling. He eats
ground turkey with eggs and egg shells in it. We feed him daily. It has taken
a lot of time and patience, but he is making more progress every day at being
more friendly. He is getting used to us his people and socialized, and is
well on his way to being a really great part of our family and we love him already.
