Sookie
(girl, in front) and Jasper (boy) are my Crimson Conures. Sookie is one
year old and protective of Jasper even though he is six months older. She is
not afraid of anything and she likes to hang upside down by one toe. She also
likes to play rough and jump on Jasper's head any chance she gets! Sookie is
a feisty little girl, but still a good girl. Jasper is the sweetest little
guy. Very gentle and will always do what you ask him to do (like stepping up)
even if he doesn't really want to. He gets pushed around by Sookie a bit at
times, but is always a gentlemen with her and let her be the boss!! They both
rely on each other though and you rarely see one without the other nearby.
They also both have their adult feathering now, and their good eating habits
show through their colors! They love a variety of nutritious foods, from
pellets to fruits and veggies, to sprouts and will bathe faithfully every
day. They also love to spend time outdoors when the weather allows and watch
the wildlife, including other birds. I look forward to years of fun with
these two!
