These
are Pauli (the grey one) and Schnuffel (the black and
brown one). Pauli belongs to me and Schnuffel belongs to my sister Hannah.
First we bought Schnuffel at Gartentreff and brought her home, but she was
alone and seemed lonely. So mum said: "Let's buy a second one, Schnuffel
needs a friend." The same evening we went again to Gartentreff and
bought Pauli. At Gartentreff they also lived in the same cage.
In the morning at about seven o'clock my mum, my sister or I go out of the
house and give them a carrot, salad, an apple or a dried bread. We also
give them dried food and lots of hay (in summer my grandpa grows it
himself). If the water bottle is empty, I put new water in. In the photo
you can see their cage. Grandpa built it and it always stands under
our carport.
In winter we take them for one hour or two into the house to play with
them, in summer they are in the outdoor enclosure all day long, sometimes
even at night. On some days we put them in the garden without the outdoor
enclosure but only with a fence. After that we have to catch them, that's
very stressful, but I love them very much.
